I invite you for the special Sunday evening Home Yoga class at the Home Yoga Studio at Puławska 24B unit 37 in Warsaw
The main subject of the session will be strengthening the immune system by the practice of asana & pranayama.
We are going to work on bringing the right blood circulation specially into the kidney region which during the cold season is more prone to weaken affecting the sense of warmth in the body.
The first hour and a half of the session will consist of asanas including spinal twists, backward body extensions, forward body extensions which will help to increase the healthy blood flow in the lower back & the pelvis. We will observe it further during the practice of inverted poses such as: Adho Mukha Vrksasana, Sirsasana & Sarvangasana.
The last hour of the practice will be dedicated to the proper long relaxation including selected breathing techniques (pranayama). We will broaden the consciousness of the breath and deepen the understanding the role of pranayama practice. The breathing techniques are not only a way of maintaining the right energy flow in the body, preventing from an unexpected energy loss but also a tool helping the mind settle in a more still & quiet state.
After the good practice nourishing the body & mind there will be warm pumpkin soup, warm drink with indian spices & healthy snacks waiting for you!
