ABOUT THE SESSIONS & PRICES:
Home Yoga sessions are aimed at people who prefer small group practice, individual approach from the teacher and greater concentration. We practice in a small studio at ul. Puławska 24B, in premises no. 37, which comfortably accommodates a group of 10 people. The aforementioned conditions give us the opportunity to take a close look at the correct body posture in asanas and correct it on an ongoing basis. During Home Yoga sessions, we gain a deeper understanding of yoga practice, which allows participants to progress relatively quickly. If any questions arise, the person leading the session tries to answer them on an ongoing basis.
Currently, in the Home Yoga schedule, we offer sessions:
Home Yoga BEGINNERS (POCZĄTKUJĄCA) lasts 75 minutes and is designed for those who need a introduction to the basics of Iyengar Yoga. We will patiently and carefully help you master the most important alignment and body movements in asanas – the body positions in yoga. The BEGINNERS sessions are the best choice for starting your yoga journey, providing a good refresher on the foundations of the Iyengar Yoga Method, and a way to get back into shape after a long break. Home Yoga OPEN (OTWARTA), lasts 90 minutes and consists of asana practice. The level of the session is adapted to the people currently participating in them. Depending on your readiness, inverted positions (headstand, handstand and candle) or their safe alternatives in case of contraindications to their performance may appear during the session. I’m joining the class!
Home Yoga IN-DEPTH (POGŁĘBIONA) lasts 110 minutes and consists of asana practice, pranayama and meditation. Elements of knowledge from the anatomy and philosophy of yoga are also interwoven. A slightly longer time dimension allows for gradual and reasonable preparation of the body to perform more difficult positions, interesting balances, resulting in a sense of strength and agency. During in-depth sessions, we often reach for inverted positions, i.e. headstand, handstand, forearm & shoulder stand. We also learn more personalized modifications, in case of specific, individual health needs or contraindications. We cordially invite you! I’m joining the class!
Home Yoga GENTLE (ŁAGODNA) lasts 90 minutes and is dedicated to those who need a gentle and soft practice for the body and mind. GENTLE sessions are regenerative and calming, with a relaxed pace, allowing for deeper muscle release and a refreshement of the nervous system. I’m joining the class!
Home Yoga ONLINE with Dorota is conducted in the so-called hybrid mode, i.e. simultaneously in the Home Yoga Studio and online via the Zoom application. Selected sessions are recorded and, on request, available to play for 7 days from the date of receiving the link to the recording. I’m joining the class!
Home Yoga MEDITATION with Marta is a 90-minute guided meditation session held regularly on Friday afternoons. It is a perfect, gentle & mindful way for a gentle the transition from a working mode into the weekend relaxation. The sessions are led by Marta Król-Szczepkowska, a certified mindfulness trainer. Yoga in Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw (Joga w Łazienkach Królewskich) is free of admission and open to all. During summer time we practice mostly in the fresh air surrounded by the beautiful nature of Royal Łazienki Park. In winter we are practicing in the warm interior of Museum Łazkienki Królewskie. The yoga practice takes place on selected Sunday mornings at 10 am. Everyone should bring her/his own yoga mat and blanket/towel. The classes are mostly led in Polish. The River View Wellness Centre is an exclusive fitness and wellness club located on the top floor of The InterContinental Hotel in the centre of Warsaw. The yoga classes mentioned in my schedule take 60 minutes and are open to yoga practitioners of all levels. The groups are small which enables a more individual approach of the instructor. The club offers various membership plans based on your needs or a daily ticket which includes all scheduled fitness sessions.
